Over Filled is a reflection on modern society’s endless pursuit of wealth, excess, and accumulation. A sculptural coffee pot endlessly pours money instead of nourishment — transforming a symbol of comfort, routine, and human connection into a stream of obsession.
The work questions the growing divide between what we truly need and what we are taught to desire. In a world where success is often measured by possessions, status, and financial power, the piece confronts the emotional and spiritual emptiness that can exist beneath abundance.
The overflowing currency represents more than money — it symbolizes pressure, ambition, greed, survival, fear, and the relentless chase for “more.” The industrial structure and suspended pouring motion create tension between productivity and humanity, asking a quiet but uncomfortable question:
At what point does enough become endless?
While society continues to expand the gap between needing and wanting, Over Filled invites viewers to reflect on the cost of constant consumption — and whether true fulfillment can ever be purchased.
This piece is both critique and mirror: a reminder that growth as human beings cannot be measured by accumulation alone.
